The Chevelle carries Mayne Designs' strongest press credential — a feature in Chevy High Performance magazine, the shop's most concrete piece of national recognition to date.
It started as a roller and was built piece by piece. The LS was bored, machined, blueprinted and balanced, then topped with a ProCharger. The result is 700 horsepower and 640 lb-ft at the rear tires, sent through a six-speed manual.
The blue is Mazda’s Celestial Blue, close to a factory LeMans Blue from ten feet away and unmistakably modern up close. It sits on 20-inch three-piece wheels in black, with Sparco buckets inside. Autotopia LA filmed it, and GM Authority wrote it up in December 2022.
